About Bill Coffey

Practicing law since 1973, Bill Coffey's primary focus includes wills and estate planning, personal injury defense, premises liability, admiralty, automobile and trucking accidents, commercial litigation, construction disputes, medical malpractice, products liability defense, and toxic torts. A graduate of Lamar State College of Technology, Bill received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1968.

Bill also attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1972. Bill is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law and is admitted to practice before the Eastern and Southern United States District Courts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
